During the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013, a five car accident in the Bucktown neighborhood of the Windy City injured 11 people while also destroying several cars. According to Chicago Police News Affairs, the multi-vehicle accident occurred near West Armitage and North Western Avenues at approximately 2:15 a.m.
All 11 of the people injured in the crash were adults. They were taken to St. Mary's Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for treatment. Officials noted that they are all listed in good condition at the present time. Police said the crash involved two parked cars as well as three moving vehicles.
Many people believe that serious accidents only take place during the busiest hours of the day when a large number of vehicles are on the road.
